Shilah Copeland

unnamedIn the buzz of life, how do you find peace? Body movement through yoga and aerial yoga have created that space for me.  Finally, a moving meditation that connected and made sense to me. The enjoyment and blissful feelings I get from the practice and the community, make everything worth it!  Sharing breath, life and energy to help make the world a softer place, while exploring your limits in order to connect deeper with yourself, your subtle and energetic bodies, is what we thrive for. Join me in learning more about the ways of teaching an aerial yoga class and learn a little more about yourself along the way.

 


Alethea Dawson

20180609_094902Alethea fell in love with yoga because of how good it made her feel in mind and in body. Alethea believes yoga is a life style not just a work out. She is in love with the connection of mind and body that you gain with breath. Alethea graduated from Kindness Yoga Teacher Training March 2016. She then went to Bali to assist and attend another teacher training June 2016. While there she saw a sign for an Aerial Teacher Training. Although she had never done Aerial Yoga but had taken a few Aerial Dance classes and her passion for yoga she couldn’t resist. She loves the feeling of flying and the lightness that the hammock gives.

Alethea RYT also has training in Nidra, Adaptive, Yin and Restorative. She studied Nidra and Adaptive at Samadhi Yoga in Denver. She believes it is essential to take time to slow down. Nidra has completely changed her life and she has a passion to hold space to bring that piece of mind to others. Adaptive is another huge passion of Alethea’s because it makes yoga accessible to every BODY. She studied Yin at One Yoga with Mike Ninomiya. She returned to Kindness Yoga to train in Restorative.
Alethea also mentored with Jen Hicks at Kindness Yoga.Alethea is also a certified Reiki Level 2. She strives to hold space for you to find your own light through breath, movement and relaxation. Alethea also has a huge passion for animals and is enrolled in school for Holistic health with an interest for Nutrition. When she is not doing yoga you can find her hanging out with her cat, a random animal or making healthy meals for her friends. She also enjoys making Malas and painting.

Reba Malandra

reba_headshotReba has an extensive background in education and fitness: M.Ed., CPCC, ACC, AAFA certified (group fitness instructor), NASM certified personal trainer, 500 Hour Trained Yoga Instructor in Bikram and Power Vinyasa, and more. An Advanced Definitive Barre Fitness instructor and certified Barre instructor, Reba studied Barre and Mat Pilates at Power Pilates in New York, and became a Master Trainer for Aerial Yoga after moving to Colorado.  Simultaneously energetic and restorative, Reba’s empowering classes inspire students to explore, be playful, and feel alive. Outside the studio, Reba is a life coach who enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, friends, and of course, her dogs Daisy, Ally, Orbit and Dash.
