January is right around the corner which means you may be thinking about New Year’s Resolutions! Atherial has a full lineup of workshops that will help you stay on track with your fitness goals.

January 5, 2019 – Aerial Chest & Heart Opening

Our Aerial Chest & Heart Opening Workshop is designed to give you a great start to the new year. Jen will lead you through a meditation exercise that will help you realize your fears and goals for the new year. You’ll then participate in an aerial yoga class that will help you open your heart and create space for positive change to filter in. You’ll leave this workshop feeling empowered, confident, and ready for 2019.

January 11, 2019 – Due Date for New You and Personal Training Applications

Atherial is excited to announce the second-annual New You program! Atherial will give away 6-month memberships to 8 lucky Denver residents so they can work on themselves both inside and out throughout the new year. This year we are excited to add another option – 2 months of personal training with our NASM-certified personal trainer, Emilianna! See how you can improve your life during 2019.  Find the applications on our website and submit your application by January 11, 2019.

January 12, 2019 – Aerial Backbends Workshop

If you’ve been working on improving your backbends, come to this workshop! Casey is an experienced dancer who will lead you through conditioning, back strengthening, and flexibility drills so you can make your backbend goals a reality.  You’ll also learn some new, fun aerial back-bends.

January 12, 2019 – Start of Beginner Sling Series – 6 Weeks

Our Beginner Sling Series is perfect for anyone who wants to try Sling whether or not they have previous flying experience. Alethea will guide you through exercises during this six-week series that will build strength so you can learn to fly with ease. You’ll learn foundational grips and postures as you build confidence in the air. This series takes place each Saturday for 6 weeks. Those who complete this series have the option of advancing to our Intermediate Sling Series which will begin in February.

January 18, 2019 – Manifest Your Reality Workshop

If you want to get serious about improving your thought patterns and bringing more joy into your life, this workshop is for you. Reba, a certified life coach, will guide you on an internal journey so you can understand your dreams and begin to make them a reality. Brittanie, an avid journaler, yogi, and massage therapist will be on-hand to share her experiences and guide you through an intention-building yoga practice. This workshop will help you manifest your dreams into your reality.

January 26 and 27, 2019 – Arm Balances and Inversions with Kirsty Menaker

Atherial is excited to host Instagram influencer and avid yogi, tiny_kirsty (Kirsty Menaker) for two workshops! The first (Jan 26) will focus on Arm Balances and the second (Jan 27) will be all about handstands.  Kirsty will lead the class through strengthening drills, a short yoga practice and then you’ll have the opportunity to work on inversions. Come to one or both of these events and learn how to invert from one of the best!

Aerial Teacher Training

If you’re looking to advance your practice for the long-term, consider Atherial’s Aerial Yoga Teacher Training program. Level 1 takes place over two weekends in April. You’ll learn how to cue aerial asana and spot students safely.  You’ll also learn about anatomy as it applies to aerial yoga and how to ensure your rigging is set up safely. Atherial’s number one priority is safety.  The program is open to all yogis whether or not you have a 200-hour training. Payment plans are available.
